 The Parish Life Team

Family Night
Family Night will be new at St Anne's beginning in September of 2014.  We believe it is important that as individuals and as individual families, we can find a place of belonging and enjoyment at church.  Family Night is designed to provide the family of St Anne's with a recurring evening of meal sharing, fellowship and activities for all members of the parish regardless of age.  Family Night begins at 5:30pm.

Youth Ministry
Youth in grades 6-12 meet on Wednesday evenings throughout the year from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Meetings begin with fellowship and a light meal or snack followed by an activity. Our time together includes discussions on topics related to the lives of Christian teenagers today, community service projects, praise and worship time, and fun community-building activities. The youth of our parish participate in diocesan events such as lock-ins, mission trips, and summer camps as well as national events such as 30 hour famine and EYE (Episcopal Youth Event).

Cursillo
Cursillo is a three-day weekend which begins on Thursday evening and ends on Sunday. During the three days, participants hear a variety of talks given by lay persons and clergy, who have spent time working together, planning and preparing for the Weekend. A Cursillo Weekend is not a retreat, with fasting or extended periods of silence. Rather, it is an experience in Christian education, where participants have an opportunity to meet clergy and laity who are seeking to strengthen their faith. Shared prayer, worship, study, music, fellowship, laughter, and tears all work together to create a loving atmosphere where one can feel the reality of God's free and unconditional love.

Women’s Ministry
The women of St Anne’s join in a fellowship for the purpose of deepening their spiritual life and fostering active participation in the whole church program. All women are encouraged to participate and experience the joy of this fellowship and ministry.

Coffee Hour
Coffee Hour ministry encourages and facilitates Sunday morning fellowship, following the 10 am service (or, in Summer, the 9 am service). Participants in this ministry ensure coffee is hot, cups are ready, and goodies are arranged! The sign-up is located in Miller Hall in front of the kitchen wall.

Wednesday Discussion Group
On Wednesdays, following the 9 am Healing Eucharist, the Discussion Group meets to share coffee and conversation in the Library. Drop in anytime!

Welcome Ministry
The primary goal of the Welcome Ministry is to welcome and greet people who are new to the church and offer whatever help they can. Visitor Information cards are located in the gift bags provided during the worship service. The card may be completed and placed in the offering plate or handed to an usher or clergy when leaving the church.  Periodic gatherings may be planned to enable our new parishioners a time to mingle with the clergy and vestry members in an informal setting. This is the perfect opportunity for questions and answers.
