How can I become a member?
1. There is only one standard, one requirement, for membership in the Church, and that is Holy Baptism. Once you have been baptized in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, whether in the Episcopal Church or any other Christian Church, you are a member of the Body of Christ and a member of His Church.
2. To become a member of the Episcopal Church, we only need a record of your baptism so that we may record it in our church register. This makes you a member of the Episcopal Church as well as a member of Saint Anne’s! Often times this is referred to as “transferring your letter”.
3. There are other elements or categories of church membership such as Communicants, Adult Communicant, Communicant in Good Standing, and Confirmed Communicant.
4. Rest assured, if you attend Saint Anne’s, whether you are an official member or not, we consider you part of our family and will extend our love, acceptance, and ministry to you.
If you desire to become a member of St Anne’s or if you desire to discuss any of the other categories of church membership,
please talk with Father Eric.
